The foundation of our journey was laid in 1988, when Late Shri Satpal Bansal Ji established Raman Medical in Karnal with a vision to build a trusted pharmaceutical business. Starting as a wholesale distribution firm, the company partnered with leading pharmaceutical brands such as Cipla, Ranbaxy, Johnson & Johnson, and many other renowned manufacturers. Through a strong commitment to quality products, reliable service, and long-term relationships, Raman Medical has grown into one of the trusted wholesale distributors, serving retailers with an extensive portfolio of pharmaceutical products.

In 2000, the group expanded into the pharmaceutical raw material business by establishing Bansal Pharma in Karnal. The company specializes in the trading of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and pharmaceutical excipients, supplying high-quality raw materials to pharmaceutical manufacturers. With a focus on timely deliveries, complete documentation, and dependable customer support, Bansal Pharma has become a trusted sourcing partner for the industry.

To support the rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturing hub, Bansal Pharma expanded its operations to Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, in 2006. The Baddi branch strengthened the company’s presence in the API and excipient market while providing seamless procurement solutions backed by comprehensive regulatory documentation. Today, the company is associated with leading organizations including Biocon, Vital Laboratories, Ankit Pulps & Boards Pvt. Ltd., Agro Cool India Pvt. Ltd., Sun Pharma, and maintains a strong procurement network across China for sourcing premium-quality pharmaceutical raw materials.

In 2014, the group entered pharmaceutical manufacturing by establishing a state-of-the-art sterile manufacturing facility for 100 ml IV infusion formulations. Designed and operated in compliance with stringent international quality standards, the facility follows the guidelines of USFDA, ANVISA, PIC/S, TGA (Australia), and WHO-GMP. The manufacturing unit is committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and effective pharmaceutical products to both domestic and international markets. Within a year of commencing operations, the company successfully expanded into exports, supplying products to several regulated international markets.

Further strengthening its presence in the pharmaceutical sector, the company launched Stermed India in 2017 as its dedicated marketing division. Stermed India focuses on delivering a comprehensive range of high-quality finished pharmaceutical formulations across India through a well-established distribution network. With a unique product portfolio, timely deliveries, and a customer-centric approach, Stermed India continues to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the pharmaceutical industry while building lasting partnerships with distributors and healthcare professionals nationwide.
